According to TMZ, 50 Cent has won a legal round against Rick Ross’ ex, Tia Kemp, after a judge granted his request for a temporary injunction to protect his 14-year-old son, Sire.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show a Florida judge issued the order on Monday. It requires Kemp to stay at least 500 feet from Sire and bars her from contacting him in any way, directly or indirectly, including through social media.
The judge also barred her from owning firearms or ammunition, and she must hand over any weapons to law enforcement once she is served with the order.
The injunction follows a filing by 50 on Sire’s behalf, alleging that Kemp repeatedly targeted the teen online and allegedly called him “slow” and claimed he’s on the autism spectrum.
As TMZ first reported, 50 also claimed Kemp posted a photo of Sire next to an explicit image of a woman, whom his filing suggested was the boy’s mother, Daphne Joy. He said his lawyers had earlier sent Kemp a cease and desist letter, but she allegedly responded by posting part of it with a profane caption aimed at him and his attorneys.
The rapper argued that her behavior caused his son humiliation, embarrassment, and mental anguish.
The order is only temporary and expires on November 3, when both sides are due in court and the judge will decide whether to issue a longer-lasting injunction.
