Halle Berry’s apparently hacked Instagram post sparked a tense exchange in court with her ex, Olivier Martinez.
According to Page Six, Martinez’s attorney, Patrick Baghdaserians, asked to reopen the evidence after a story appeared on Berry’s account that seemed to take a jab at the French actor.
He argued that Berry violated a temporary restraining order and asked for the chance to question her about the post.
Berry’s attorney, Marina Beck, dismissed the request as a “last-minute grasp at straws,” calling it a witch hunt.
She also suggested that Martinez’s team deliberately raised the issue in open court so the press would hear it, saying they wanted to continue pushing a false narrative. Baghdaserians countered that the post was disturbing his client’s peace and calm.

As TMZ previously reported, the Instagram story went up on Monday and claimed that when kids disrespect their mother, the cause can often be traced to their relationship with their father. Sources close to Berry told TMZ she didn’t publish it and that they’re looking into how it got posted.
Berry and Martinez are in a bitter custody dispute over their 13-year-old son, Maceo. It began after Martinez accused Berry of choking the boy during an argument while he was playing a VR game. Maceo testified at a hearing on Martinez’s restraining order request, with his testimony held behind closed doors and both parents asked to leave the courtroom.
