November 3, 2026 Brad Pitt’s Daughter Vivienne Officially Drops His Last Name

According to TMZ, Brad Pitt has officially lost his surname from yet another of his children’s names. His 18-year-old daughter, Vivienne, has legally dropped her famous father’s last name.

A Los Angeles judge approved her petition on Monday, changing her legal name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. The judge signed off after no objections were filed.

As TMZ reported, Vivienne filed the paperwork in July, shortly after turning 18, citing “personal” reasons for removing “Pitt.”

She had already been using her mother Angelina Jolie’s surname professionally, and was credited as “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for the Broadway production of “The Outsiders,” which she worked on with her mom.

Vivienne is now the fourth of Brad and Angelina’s six children to legally drop their father’s surname.

Her older sister Shiloh made the change official in 2024, while Maddox and Zahara received court approval for their own name changes earlier this year. Vivienne’s twin brother, Knox, also left “Pitt” off his high school diploma, though he hasn’t legally changed his name.

TMZ previously reported that sources close to Brad claim Angelina is responsible for the growing rift between him and the kids, describing the name changes as part of an ongoing effort to alienate them from their father.

Brad and Angelina finalized their divorce in December 2024 but remain locked in a separate legal fight over their French winery, Château Miraval.
