Kim Kardashian says she’s waiting for the right moment to take the bar exam again, but it’s never far from her mind.
The billionaire told PEOPLE at the NYC premiere of “All’s Fair” season 2 that she hasn’t abandoned her goal of becoming an attorney, even though she failed the bar exam when she took it last year.
She said she’s always thinking about it, but her schedule is too packed right now to give studying the focus it needs. In her words, she plans to take her time and wait until she has free time to concentrate on it.
Kardashian has been chasing her dream of practicing law for a while. It took her four attempts, but she passed the baby bar in 2021.
She completed her legal program in May 2025, six years after starting, by choosing the four-year Law Office Study Program, also called “reading the law,” rather than attending law school.
Shortly after graduating, she sat for the California bar in July 2025 and revealed that she’d failed after receiving her results in November. She has previously said that one day she might give up her pop culture persona to become a full-time trial lawyer.
Time to hit the books, Kim!
