Taylor Swift is no stranger to “Bad Blood,” and her induction speech at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame was no exception, as she joked about her nearly two-decade estrangement from Brad Paisley.

Paisley, whose “Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour” Swift opened for in 2007, was the one who inducted her, and she didn’t hold back in playfully poking fun at their feud.
Swift told the Nashville crowd that Paisley took a tour prank way too far back then, releasing “thousands” of live crickets onto her tour bus.
According to the newly minted Hall of Famer, the chirping kept her from sleeping for months, and she even considered getting a pet lizard to get rid of them.
Luckily for Paisley, she said his introduction was so kind that she’s willing to let bygones be bygones.

Feuds aside, Swift stunned in a burgundy beaded mini dress, sky-high heels and a velvet mauve overcoat, a nod to her 2010 hit “Enchanted.” Her most important accessory, though, was her mom, Andrea, who joined her for Nashville’s big night.
And now that she’s the highest-grossing touring artist, Swift will never have to hear crickets again.
