Sources familiar with the situation say Gisele doesn’t view Candice’s new romance with Tom as a betrayal, even though social media users have accused Candice of crossing a line by getting involved with a fellow model’s ex.
The sources say Gisele and Candice have always been friendly and supportive of each other and naturally crossed paths over the years through modeling, but they never developed a close friendship. They also haven’t been seen together in recent years, which makes the online accusations of betrayal a bit of a stretch.
Both women have longstanding ties to Victoria’s Secret and have moved in similar circles in the fashion world, which may explain why some fans assumed they were closer than they really were.
TMZ first reported that Tom and Candice have been quietly dating since June, keeping things largely under the radar by spending time at low-key spots near Indian Creek in Miami rather than the city’s more popular hotspots.
Tom and Gisele finalized their divorce in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, and they share two children, Benjamin and Vivian. Gisele has since moved on with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, whom she married in 2025.
