The topic “Disney+ Announces 6 MCU Shows Releasing In 2025” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

A new teaser has confirmed six MCU series coming to Disney+ in 2025. Marvel Studios has had an interesting year in the world of streaming, experiencing a relatively light schedule in 2024 compared to previous years. By the end of 2024, the studio will have released only four original projects on the platform. However, that isn’t expected to be the case in 2025.

6 MCU Series Coming in 2025

Marvel Studios has confirmed six new MCU series coming to Disney+ in 2025 as part of a mysterious promotional video.

The roughly three-minute video showcases much of the studio’s upcoming streaming lineup, including release dates for several series. It unexpectedly appeared on the platform for viewers watching Episode 1 of “Agatha All Along”, serving as a brief but exciting introduction to Kathryn Hahn’s captivating streaming series.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Disney+ Announces 6 MCU Shows Releasing In 2025

Marvel Studios will kick off 2025 with the animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” set to debut on January 29. This series will introduce audiences to an alternate universe version of Peter Parker as he embarks on his first adventures as the iconic wall-crawler.

Previously, there were rumors that “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” would be released before the end of 2024, but those rumors have recently been debunked.

Daredevil: Born Again

Following “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” Marvel’s Man Without Fear is making a highly anticipated return on March 4. “Daredevil: Born Again” will mark a new era for Charlie Cox’s scarlet-clad superhero, fully reintroducing him into the MCU with a gritty, R-rated storyline on streaming.

The brief teaser showcased glimpses of Cox’s Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil), along with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. It also featured Ayelet Zurer’s Vanessa Fisk, who will reprise her role after Marvel Studios initially replaced the original Daredevil star from the Netflix series.

Ironheart

After years of anticipation and numerous postponements, Ironheart is set to make its awaited Disney+ premiere on June 24. This successor to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will revolve around Dominique Thorne’s prodigious young intellect, Riri Williams, as she embarks on the dual journey of becoming a superhero while tackling the rigors of college life at MIT.

This streaming odyssey promises to introduce the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s inaugural clash of sorcery against technology. Furthermore, as hinted by glimpses in a brief Disney+ teaser, Thorne’s youthful hero will don a fresh, iron-forged look as she faces the formidable challenges that lie ahead.

Eyes of Wakanda

Scheduled to premiere on August 6, 2025, the latest installment in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther saga is the animated series titled “Eyes of Wakanda”. Developed by Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, this animated adventure centers on the courageous Dora Milaje warriors as they defend Wakanda, its people, and its invaluable resources.

Recently, fans were treated to a sneak peek of a potential logo for “Eyes of Wakanda”, teasing the thrilling super-powered journey that awaits in this streaming series.

Marvel Zombies

Just in time to set the Halloween mood in 2025, Marvel fans can dive back into the MCU’s chilling exploration of the undead with Marvel Zombies. This spine-tingling What If…? spin-off, debuting on Disney+ on October 25, plunges viewers into an alternate universe where a team of Avengers must battle for survival in a realm overrun by zombified superheroes.

This upcoming release is anticipated to carry another R-rating, bringing a darker edge to the superhero franchise. Early glimpses have showcased an exciting roster, with Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan stepping into the eerie world of the undead.

Wonder Man

Closing out the year, the Yahya Abdul-Mateen-led series “Wonder Man” is set to premiere in December 2025. The show, developed by Destin Daniel Cretton of “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” completed filming in April of this year.

“Wonder Man” will offer a meta perspective on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the ever-evolving Hollywood industry. The series will focus on a Hollywood stuntman, played by Mateen, as he tries to achieve success in the film industry.

You can find the 2025 Marvel Television teaser on Disney+ before the first episode of “Agatha All Along.”
