November 28, 2024 Kathryn Hahn Says Goodbye to MCU Agatha Role

Kathryn Hahn Says Goodbye to MCU Agatha Role

The topic “Kathryn Hahn Says Goodbye to MCU Agatha Role” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

Kathryn Hahn, the leading lady of “Agatha All Along,” has wrapped up her recent portrayal of Agatha Harkness in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Her solo series, which aired on Disney+ in September and October, concluded with a surprising twist: Agatha Harkness is now a ghost in the MCU.

After making a highly celebrated appearance in 2021’s “WandaVision,” Hahn elevated her character to new heights of excitement in her own solo series. “Agatha All Along” featured captivating magic and chart-topping music, which left fans yearning for more Agatha in the MCU. However, given the packed schedule of upcoming MCU projects, finding the right opportunity for the character’s return is a challenging task.

Marvel's Kathryn Hahn Bids Agatha Harkness Goodbye

Kathryn Hahn Says Goodbye to MCU Agatha Role

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kathryn Hahn, the star ofAgatha All Along, appeared to bid farewell to her role as Agatha Harkness in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the time being. She discussed her relationship with Joe Locke’s character, Billy Maximoff, and expressed hope that she might be able to do for him what she couldn’t achieve for Nicholas Scratch, who was officially introduced in Episode 8 ofAgatha All Along. In addition, Hahn described the show asa beautiful and satisfying way to say goodbyeto her character in her journey through the MCU:

“Even though obviously now Billy/Wiccan is not her son, there is some sort of hope for her that she’s able to maybe do for him what she couldn’t do for Nicky. I think they do make a great team. Of course, I love this part, and I love Joe Locke madly, and we’ll see what the future holds. In my mind, this was a beautiful and satisfying way to say goodbye to this incredible character I had to play.”

Despite her comments, Hahn expresses nothing but love for this character, reflecting on how Agathareopened [her] hunger and love for performingand became a role she will cherish forever:

“By the end of the show, I would go into hair and makeup at the end of the day and be like,Well, this is my last acting job, because I felt like I had a chance to do it all. But it really just reopened my hunger and love for performing. I do feel like this is exactly the part I’m supposed to play at this period of my life.”

In reflecting on the show’s conclusion, Hahn acknowledged the pride she and her team felt regarding their work. She described the ending assubversive and radical, highlighting how meaningful it was to conclude the series with a message that was bothsmall and tender:”

“But I do know how proud we are of it and how subversive and radical it felt to have an ending, especially a big Marvel show, be that small and tender and have this little beating heart.”

Hahn previously spoke to Rolling Stone about the possibility of Agatha Harkness crossing over into a movie role, stating that she felt she wouldonly be asked if it was necessary:”

“I would say, I think I’d only be asked if it was necessary and juicy. So, who knows? The craziest, most perfect, side-door entrance to this world is to be a witch. It feels wicked step-sister-y. And I really like it like that.”

Despite this, during a live recording of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actress acknowledged thepotential funthat could arise from Agatha joining the movie side of the MCU:

“I think the witches are really great… A really great, great way in anywhere. And I also- That’s why, when it was a witch that I was proposed to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I was like It really felt wicked stepsister-y, like we were getting away with something, coming in through, like, a side door. We were like,Don’t mind me!Because it really did feel like, when is someone gonna pull the plug? But I do think that there, there is would be a lot of potential fun in just dropping a witch into any grouping.”

When Will Kathryn Hahn Return as Agatha Harkness?

Considering Kathryn Hahn’s popularity in the MCU fandom, many fans are hopeful that this series won’t be her last opportunity to portray this game-changing character. Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner of “Agatha All Along,” has hinted at discussions about a potential Season 2, expressing a desire to explore more chapters of Agatha’s life that have yet to be revealed.

Despite Agatha currently being a ghost in the MCU, it’s important to remember that in the comic book world, no one truly stays dead. This principle applies to Marvel Studios as well. For example, even though Wanda Maximoff is confirmed to be dead in Agatha’s solo series, many fans believe she will make a return soon.
Agatha made it clear that she does not consider herself a hero in her story. She openly acknowledges her past misdeeds as a ghost and finds returning to the living world to be quite challenging. Nevertheless, she remains committed to looking after Billy Maximoff and is determined to help him with his upcoming mission.
In Episode 9, Agatha and Billy set off on a quest to find a reincarnated Tommy Maximoff, which could be a crucial step in assembling the MCU’s Young Avengers. While Agatha is unlikely to join that team, she appears to be set to play a significant role in reconnecting the brothers.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is preparing for two new Avengers movies, with “Avengers: Secret Wars” expected to be the biggest crossover event in film history. This could provide a great opportunity for Agatha to make her return, especially since many anticipate that it will also serve as a comeback for Wanda, allowing Elizabeth Olsen to rejoin the story.

Regardless of how the narrative unfolds, fans remain hopeful that Kathryn Hahn’s villainous magic-user will create more chaos in the near future.
All nine episodes of “Agatha All Along” are now available to stream on Disney+.

The topic “The MCU’s Latest X-Men Debut Tease Makes One Avengers 6 Theory Even More Likely Now” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

A recent update regarding the X-Men makes a theory about “Avengers: Secret Wars” more plausible, which would be beneficial for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). While the Fox X-Men movies were not always well-received, they played a significant role in paving the way for the modern era of superhero films. Initially, the MCU didn’t have access to some of its most popular characters, such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men. Despite this, many successful MCU movies were released without these heroes. Now, as the franchise enters a new phase, it finally has access to all of its major characters.

2024 was a significant year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Marvel Studios released only one movie, titled “Deadpool & Wolverine.” This film marks the first time characters from Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox have appeared in an MCU production. Deadpool & Wolverine has gone on to become the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time, earning over $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office. Its success demonstrates the immense potential for future MCU movies featuring X-Men characters. An X-Men movie is already in development, and it is expected that the mutant team will likely be integrated into the ongoing Multiverse Saga before the standalone project is realized.

Kevin Feige Revealed New MCU X-Men Details

The MCU’s Latest X-Men Debut Tease Makes One Avengers 6 Theory Even More Likely Now

The potential involvement of the X-Men in the final films of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga has long been a topic of interest, and new developments have recently emerged. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige provided an update on the X-Men’s introduction to the MCU. He revealed that some familiar X-Men characters will appear in the upcoming films of the Multiverse Saga, with the 2027 film “Avengers: Secret Wars” marking a significant turning point for the franchise. This film is expected to conclude the Multiverse Saga, and it appears that the mutants will play a key role in that storyline.

Kevin Feige has mentioned that X-Men characters are expected to appear in upcoming MCU movies, potentially including popular figures like Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. However, a reboot of the X-Men will likely be set up in the sixth Avengers film. Feige stated, “The entire storyline of Secret Wars really paves the way for a new era of mutants and the X-Men.” He also expressed that it is a dream come true for Marvel Studios to have the X-Men back in their franchise, allowing them to develop MCU stories featuring the team, which has already begun.

Multiple X-Men Characters Have Already Appeared In The MCU

The X-Men reboot may not occur until after “Avengers: Secret Wars,” but Marvel Studios has been utilizing the concept of the multiverse as a way to reintroduce beloved characters from Fox’s X-Men films into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Notably, Marvel pulled a clever twist regarding the Fox X-Men by introducing Evan Peters’ character, who was initially assumed to be Quicksilver, as the first major multiverse character in the MCU. However, “WandaVision” revealed that this was a deceptive plot orchestrated by Agatha Harkness, and Peters’ character turned out to be Ralph Bohner, who has no connection to Quicksilver.

In addition to that instance, several beloved actors from the Fox X-Men movies reprised their roles as either multiverse variants of their Marvel characters or as the same versions they previously portrayed. Patrick Stewart, who was one of the main faces of the X-Men franchise in live-action, returned as a variant of Charles Xavier in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” Kelsey Grammer also made an appearance as a variant of Beast in “The Marvels,” as well as in all of Deadpool and Wolverine’s X-Men appearances. The film featured the core cast of mutants from the “Deadpool” series, although most had minimal roles.

Characters like Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, Hugh Jackman’s new Wolverine variant, and Dafne Keen’s returning X-23 really got a chance to shine in their MCU debuts, playing major roles in “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Channing Tatum also finally debuted as Gambit after being cast by Fox back in 2014, although his standalone movie was never made. Additionally, the MCU multiverse will introduce its own version of Storm in 2025, who will wield Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir, in the upcoming “What If…?” season 3. Many X-Men characters play diverse roles within the MCU.

MCU Theory: The Fox X-Men Return In Avengers: Secret Wars

Kevin Feige has hinted that more familiar X-Men characters will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) before the storyline of “Avengers: Secret Wars” leads to a reboot of the X-Men. This theory strengthens the idea that the mutant team will make a significant appearance to conclude the Multiverse Saga. “Avengers: Secret Wars” is expected to focus on incursions, where universes collide, mirroring the comic book event on which the movie is based. In this context, “The Marvels” seems to have laid the groundwork for Fox’s X-Men to receive a proper send-off before the MCU reintroduces the mutants and recasts the characters.

One of the post-credits scenes in The Marvels features Kelsey Grammer as a variant of Hank McCoy, also known as Beast. This scene reveals that Monica Rambeau is trapped in a universe where the X-Men are actively present. Based on Kevin Feige’s update about the X-Men and the post-credits scene from “The Marvels” there is a compelling theory that Avengers: Secret Wars will include variants of Fox’s X-Men from the universe to which Beast belongs. This theory also suggests that this new X-Men universe will collide with the MCU’s Earth-616, potentially leading to a live-action version of “Avengers vs. X-Men.” This idea aligns with various rumors circulating within the fan community.

How The MCU’s Next Saga Can Be All About The X-Men

Kevin Feige announced that after “Avengers: Secret Wars,” a “new age of mutants and of the X-Men” will be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Given the popularity of the characters and the demand from fans to see their favorite mutants interact with heroes like Spider-Man and Captain America, it makes sense for Marvel Studios to fully embrace the mutant side of the franchise once the Multiverse Saga concludes. The first two X-Men-related projects produced by Marvel Studios, the animated series “X-Men ’97” and the R-rated “Deadpool & Wolverine,” indicate that the mutants are in capable hands.

“X-Men ’97” allowed Marvel to showcase many of the most popular X-Men characters, making them as compelling as they are in the comics. This series broadened the focus beyond just Wolverine. With Deadpool and Wolverine demonstrating the live-action potential of mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and with a variety of X-Men heroes and villains now available to Marvel, it’s clear that these characters deserve an entire saga dedicated to their introduction into the MCU. The Krakoan Age of X-Men comics could serve as an inspiration for the MCU, enriching the lore of the X-Men after “Avengers: Secret Wars” potentially concludes Fox’s version of the X-Men.

Agatha All Along Season 2’s Potential Storylines Revealed by Showrunner

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer has officially commented on potential storylines for Season 2 of “Agatha All Along.” Following the confirmation that “Agatha All Along” is not a Season 2 of “WandaVision,” but rather a spin-off series, there remains hope for new episodes of Disney+’s latest MCU adventure.

One of the aspects that made the series particularly intriguing was its two-part finale. Schaeffer revealed that keeping Episode 9 of “Agatha All Along” in a “non-traditional finale” format was challenging.

Despite the definitive ending, there are still plenty of stories left for these characters, especially considering that Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha has become the MCU’s first ghost.

Jac Schaeffer Discusses Potential Season 2 Storylines

Agatha All Along Season 2's Potential Storylines Revealed by Showrunner

In an interview with Backstory Magazine, Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner for Agatha All Along, discussed potential story arcs for Season 2 and other future projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She talked about the relationship between Agatha and Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio, revealing that their backstory was extensively discussed in the writers’ room but ultimately not included in the script. Schaeffer explained,There was more of Agatha and Rio’s backstory in the writers’ room. There was never any more on the page. She noted that exploring their past too deeply would have createdtoo much of a counterweight to the Nicky material:”

“There was more [of Agatha and Rio’s backstory] in the writer’s room. There was never any more on the page. It was our story instinct, I would say, that getting too far into their backstory would sort of be too much of a counterweight to the Nicky material. And so, we really included what we felt was vital to this chapter.”

She expressed her surprise at the strong reaction from fans, stating,I didn’t anticipate that the shippers would be so fervent. She also hopes that the MCU will further explore the backstory of Agatha and Rio, saying,My hope is that there will be more unpacking of their backstory in the MCU:”

“But we certainly talked about it at great length of how they met, and what their relationship was, and what it looked like in happier times, and all of that. And I didn’t anticipate that the shippers would be so fervent, that there would be And I feel foolish for not you never know how anything is going to land and you never know if people are going to care and the amount that people care is staggering to me. It’s my hope that in the MCU, there’s more unpacking of the Agatha and Rio backstory.”

Schaeffer also addressed speculation about the identity of Nicholas Scratch’s father, particularly the idea that Rio could be his father. He explained,We discussed many different versions of who Nicky’s father could be,but ultimately concluded that it was not essential to the story they were telling. She added,For Agatha’s story, it wasn’t relevant:”

“Yes, I mean, we talked about a lot of different versions of who is the father of Nicky and we ultimately decided that for Agatha’s story, it wasn’t relevant to the story we were trying to tell. And we didn’t really want to get into the weeds of if it was magical We certainly considered the idea that Rio is the father.”

She acknowledged that she had considered the possibility that Rio might be the father. She said,I wonder… I should ask the writers if they still hold that idea in their hearts. She emphasized that intentionally leaving it open to fan interpretation was part of the plan:

“I wonder…I should ask the writers if they sort of still hold that in their hearts. It’s something that I certainly thought about a lot and like to sort of contemplate. I enjoy that it is left to fan interpretation. I also feel that I know how the MCU works and I don’t think it serves anybody to sort of… for me as the Creator to emphatically tell you something that isn’t on screen, because like I said, it’s my hope that these stories continue:

Schaeffer suggested that future MCU stories might explore this further, stating,Perhaps there will be a later chapter that addresses this:”

“So, perhaps there is a later chapter that will address this. But I will say that when we were casting, sometimes we were like,Does that kid look like Rio? Does that kid look like Aubrey Plaza? So, it’s a path that is possible.”

Schaeffer pointed out that Billy is grappling with his past, stating,Billy Maximoff doesn’t have memories of William Kaplan and has very few memories of Billy Maximoff. This lack of memory has made his journey particularly challenging. She expressed hope that future MCU projects will explore Billy’s backstory in greater depth:

“Billy Maximoff doesn’t have memories of William Kaplan, and has very few memories of Billy Maximoff, and that’s part of what’s been so difficult in his journey in this particular chapter. I’m hopeful that, if he moves forward in the MCU, that there can be more sort of unpacking of the William Kaplan/Billy Maximoff part of the story and the Kaplans, Jeff and and Rebecca, specifically.”

Similar to WandaVision,Agatha All Alongintroduced more intriguing characters with potential futures in the MCU. However, it’s uncertain if their story arcs will continue into a Season 2 or in other projects.

Will Agatha All Along Season 2 Happen?

A WandaVision trilogy appears to be taking shape, comprising the original series, Agatha All Along, and Paul Bettany’s upcoming return in a Vision series.

In October 2022, Marvel announced that it was developing a second spin-off from WandaVision focused on Vision, with Jac Schaeffer initially set to serve as head writer and executive producer. However, by May 2024, Schaeffer stepped down to concentrate on Agatha All Along, and Terry Matalas was brought on board to redevelop the series. Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2025, with the series expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2026. Notably, James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron.

Although this may appear to be the final piece of a three-part story, it doesn’t seem like a natural transition to continue the narratives of Billy, Agatha, or Rio. This opens up the possibility for a traditional Season 2 or the concept of a secret Young Avengers project that Marvel has yet to announce, but which has been hinted at in recent projects like Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and The Marvels.
There are many potential avenues for these characters to continue their journeys in the Marvel universe. Given the positive reception, a second season of Agatha All Along is certainly not off the table.

All episodes of Agatha All Along are now streaming on Disney+.

Elizabeth Olsen Addresses Her Upcoming 2025 Scarlet Witch Return

The topic “Elizabeth Olsen Addresses Her Upcoming 2025 Scarlet Witch Return” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

As fans eagerly await the return of Wanda Maximoff to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) next year, Elizabeth Olsen is finally discussing her comeback as the Scarlet Witch. Following her character’s demise in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” 2025 will mark Olsen’s return to the MCU. However, this won’t be in a live-action format; instead, she will voice her character in an animated series, making for an unexpected return for both the character and the actress.

In a recent interview with Vulture, Olsen expressed her feelings about always having a place within the MCU family, particularly after the announcement that she will reprise her role as the Avengers heroine in the “Marvel Zombies” TV show. Olsen, who describes her time with Marvel as “a consistent thing,” shared what she appreciates about her working relationship with Marvel Studios:

“I’d never really had the mentality of ‘one for them, one for me.’ Marvel has been such a consistent thing I’ve been able to return to and has created — what’s the word? — some feeling of insurance in my life that has given me freedom to choose other jobs. So I haven’t felt like, ‘And then I’ll do this to do this.’ [It] has always felt like a choice. Every time, it’s character-driven. It’s always like, ‘We have this idea, and that’s why we want you to come back.’ It’s not like, ‘Just throw her in something.’”

What Elizabeth Olsen's MCU Return Comments Mean

Elizabeth Olsen Addresses Her Upcoming 2025 Scarlet Witch Return

While more details about Olsen’s return to the MCU in 2025 for “Marvel Zombies” will be revealed later during the marketing campaign, it makes sense that she refers to her return as a “character-driven” decision. Although Wanda’s character has been further developed in projects like “WandaVision” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” there is still a lot of unexplored territory, especially in “Marvel Zombies,” which offers the opportunity to focus on a different Marvel universe altogether.

Including a Wanda variant in the “Marvel Zombies” series will give Elizabeth Olsen the opportunity to explore a different character than what she’s portrayed in the MCU so far. Although “Marvel Zombies” consists of only a few episodes, having Olsen participate in the story is a positive sign for the series. It also raises the possibility of her returning to a live-action role as Scarlet Witch in the future. However, the full impact of her return won’t be evident until the show is released.

Our Take On Elizabeth Olsen's MCU Return Comments

Elizabeth Olsen has indicated that she is likely to continue her collaboration with Marvel Studios, suggesting that it won’t be long before she reprises her role as Scarlet Witch in live-action, especially with the end of The Multiverse Saga approaching. Following Kevin Feige’s comments about a potential Scarlet Witch return, it’s possible that plans for the character’s next appearance in the franchise are already in progress. In the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing Olsen as a different version of Scarlet Witch in “Marvel Zombies,” which is set to premiere on Disney+ in October 2025.

Agatha All Along’s Ending Sets Up A New, Worse Witch Problem For The MCU’s Future According To Marvel Theory

The topic “Agatha All Along’s Ending Sets Up A New, Worse Witch Problem For The MCU’s Future According To Marvel Theory” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

The ending of “Agatha All Along” seemed to resolve several loose ends. Still, a new theory suggests this is just the beginning for witches in the MCU and the legendary Witches’ Road. Witches have been part of the MCU since 2014’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” where the post-credits scene introduced Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch. However, it wasn’t until 2021’s “WandaVision” and its 2024 spinoff, “Agatha All Along,” that the mythology and history of witches were explored in greater detail.

“WandaVision” introduced Kathryn Hahn’s character, Agatha Harkness, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In the series, Agatha established a new coven and began her journey down the Witches’ Road. The finale of “Agatha All Along” revealed that Joe Locke’s character, Billy Maximoff—who is the reincarnated son of the Scarlet Witch—unconsciously created the Witches’ Road based on various folklore and legends. However, the effects of the Witches’ Road were very real. A new theory within the MCU suggests that the Witches’ Road may play a significant role in the franchise’s future, and “Agatha All Along” has set up an ideal opportunity to revisit this storyline.

Jennifer Kale Still Thinks The Witches’ Road Is Real

Billy Maximoff Created The Witches’ Road In The MCU

Agatha All Along's Ending Sets Up A New, Worse Witch Problem For The MCU's Future According To Marvel Theory

Agatha Harkness always understood that the Witches’ Road was an illusion, much like the Scarlet Witch’s Hex around Westview in “WandaVision.” In the finale of “Agatha All Along,” Billy Maximoff realized that he had created the Witches’ Road. However, the only other witch who managed to escape the Witches’ Road, Jennifer Kale (played by Sasheer Zamata), remains unaware that the Road is not real. In fact, Kale got exactly what she wanted from the Witches’ Road; she unbound herself from Agatha Harkness’ spell and regained her powers, leading her to be completely convinced of the Road’s existence.

It’s worth noting that Jennifer Kale made her Marvel Comics debut in 1972’s “Adventure into Fear #11” and has since become one of the most powerful sorcerers in the Marvel Universe. Her debut in the MCU is therefore very exciting. Additionally, Jennifer Kale is the cousin of Johnny Blaze, also known as Ghost Rider, which could facilitate his much-anticipated debut in the MCU.

After Jennifer Kale reclaimed her power in the final trial on the Witches’ Road, Billy Maximoff unknowingly transported her back to Westview. From there, she emerged from beneath the ground and flew off to unknown locations. It would be amazing to see Kale return to the MCU in the future, especially as she could help spread the legend of the Witches’ Road even further. This could become particularly significant if a new theory within the MCU turns out to be true. While Agatha Harkness originally created the legend of the Witches’ Road, it seems that Billy Maximoff may have made it a permanent reality.

Agatha All Along Theory Suggests Billy Maximoff Didn’t Destroy The Witches’ Road

Agatha All Along’s Finale Saw The Door To The Witches’ Road Seemingly Sealed

Agatha All Along's Ending Sets Up A New, Worse Witch Problem For The MCU's Future According To Marvel Theory

The finale of “Agatha All Along” seemed to suggest that Billy Maximoff destroyed the Witches’ Road by engraving a memorial for Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver, and Lilia Calderu, who all died on the Road. This memorial is located where the door to the Road once stood in Agatha Harkness’ basement. However, theories circulating in the weeks since imply that Billy Maximoff only sealed the door to the Witches’ Road but did not destroy the Road itself. This theory is plausible, especially considering Billy’s lack of control over his extraordinary reality-warping abilities.

“Agatha All Along” confirmed that there are several entrances and exits to the Witches’ Road, not just the door found in Agatha’s basement. The Salem Seven accessed the Road through an empty tunnel in Westview’s failed public transit system, while Death joined Agatha Harkness’ coven by climbing out of a grave. Additionally, Jennifer Kale exited the Road by emerging from the ground just outside Westview. This suggests that if the Witches’ Road still exists, it is likely that someone else could easily access it in the future of the MCU.

Other Witches Will Likely Track Down Jennifer Kale In The MCU’s Future

Agatha Harkness Is No Longer The Witches’ Road’s Only Survivor

Agatha All Along's Ending Sets Up A New, Worse Witch Problem For The MCU's Future According To Marvel Theory

Even though other characters are aware of the history of the Witches’ Road—specifically that Agatha Harkness created the legend to lure witches into her trap—Jennifer Kale does not share this knowledge. She believes the Witches’ Road is very real. Her traumatic experience on the Road, which involved losing nearly every member of her coven and coming close to death herself, along with the fact that she regained her abilities as she wished, reinforces this belief.

Just as Agatha Harkness became known as the sole survivor of the Witches’ Road, Jennifer Kale is likely to gain recognition within the magical community. This newfound fame may attract other witches and magic users in the MCU who hope she can guide them to the Witches’ Road. Although she would be reluctant to return to such a painful place, with some convincing, she might eventually agree to take other witches there.

If the theory about the Witches’ Road’s permanent existence proves true, Jennifer Kale could find herself back on the Road, confronting new tricks, trials, and tribulations.

What Could The Witches’ Road Offer To The MCU

The Witches’ Road Could Change The Shape Of The MCU Forever

If Billy Maximoff only sealed one door to the Witches’ Road, and the Road itself has now become a permanent fixture, many magic users in the MCU could obtain whatever their hearts desire. Notably, the Witches’ Road has been widely speculated to be a perfect way to bring Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch back to the MCU after her demise in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Following the events of “Agatha All Along,” Billy and Tommy Maximoff might travel to the Witches’ Road to wish for their mother’s return. However, the survival of the Road could also lead to far more dangerous repercussions.

Marvel’s X-Men Movie: Everything We Know

The topic “Marvel’s X-Men Movie: Everything We Know” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

With a long-awaited X-Men movie in development for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), here’s everything that has been confirmed about this major superhero team. The movie rights to the X-Men initially belonged to 20th Century Fox, starting with Bryan Singer’s X-Men in 2000 and concluding with The New Mutants in 2020. Over the course of 20 years, the X-Men franchise produced both outstanding films and some that were less well-received. However, the mutants are now back home at Marvel following Disney’s acquisition of Fox’s entertainment assets.

Although the deal was finalized in 2019, Marvel Studios has not rushed to introduce the X-Men. While several mutants have appeared in various MCU movies and TV shows, the X-Men themselves have yet to be officially mentioned. However, as things begin to align, it appears that Marvel Studios’ plans for the X-Men are gradually becoming clearer.

Although no details about the writers or the outcomes of the pitch process have been released, it seems that progress is being made behind the scenes.

Kevin Feige discussed the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during an interview with Omelete (via Discussing Film). He emphasized their significance in the narrative moving forward, stating, “… On the road to Secret Wars, we already have a clear idea of what the story will entail leading up to it and beyond. The X-Men will play a crucial role in that future.” There is a possibility that some mutants, such as Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool or Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, could make appearances in Avengers: Secret Wars. However, it is more likely that they will be officially introduced in Phase 7, after the Multiverse Saga concludes.

The Arrival Of The X-Men Will Happen

Despite numerous Easter eggs and hints throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) suggesting the arrival of the X-Men, Kevin Feige has been vague about when and how they will be introduced. It is confirmed that the X-Men will eventually join the MCU, but the timeline for this is still uncertain. Professor X and Beast have made cameo appearances in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and “The Marvels,” respectively. However, it’s unclear how, or if, these appearances will connect to the X-Men’s first standalone film in the MCU. Additionally, mutants were confirmed to exist in the MCU during the “Ms. Marvel” TV series.

Where Does The X-Men Movie Fit In The MCU Slate

They Likely Won’t Show Up Until After Secret Wars

No release date has been announced for Marvel’s X-Men, but it is most likely that they won’t officially enter the MCU until after “Avengers: Secret Wars.” This film will serve as the conclusion to the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, which began in 2021. Given the nature of “Secret Wars,” it could lead to a soft reboot of the MCU, making it the perfect opportunity for the X-Men to make their debut and usher in a new era for Marvel after nearly two decades of continuous storytelling.

If the X-Men are introduced after “Avengers: Secret Wars,” it raises questions about their release date. “Secret Wars” is set to premiere on May 7, 2027, and Marvel Studios has scheduled release dates for both July and November 2027. This suggests that the X-Men could likely be released on one of those dates.

Marvel's X-Men Cast

The Likes Of Deadpool, Wolverine, & Namor Are All Possible

There is limited information regarding the characters and actors involved in the upcoming MCU X-Men movie. While Deadpool and Wolverine introduced these heroes into the MCU, they did not remain in the MCU by the film’s conclusion. Additionally, Kelsey Grammer’s Beast made a brief appearance at the end of The Marvels. However, since this cameo occurs in “another reality,” it remains uncertain whether he will join the main MCU storyline. Furthermore, Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel is identified as a mutant in the MCU, but she appears to be on a path to lead the Young Avengers for the time being.

If the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) opts for a soft reboot following “Avengers: Secret Wars,” it is likely that a new cast will be chosen for the X-Men film, featuring fresh actors to portray these iconic characters. Given that the MCU tends to draw more inspiration from the comics compared to the earlier X-Men films produced by Fox, we might see a classic lineup of characters in their first film. This team could include Beast, Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Angel, and Iceman, with Charles Xavier presumably leading them.

Namor is the antagonist in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and he is a confirmed mutant. While he may not align with the X-Men as he has in other Marvel stories, such as those involving the Fantastic Four, it is still a possibility that he could make an appearance.

Marvel’s X-Men Story Details

Nothing Is Confirmed Of Now

No story details have been released for the upcoming Marvel X-Men movie, but one significant challenge the MCU faces is explaining where the X-Men have been prior to their introduction. Since the X-Men include a mix of both younger and older heroes, it seems unlikely that they will be newly formed within the MCU’s Earth-616. However, with the possibilities offered by the Multiverse Saga, the X-Men might come from another reality where they are already established.

The Multiverse Saga presents exciting opportunities for the X-Men to emerge from an alternate reality where they are already established. “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” set a precedent for superhero teams from different realities, showcasing the Illuminati, which notably included Professor X as one of its members. A compelling hook for the X-Men’s story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) may involve Monica Rambeau being trapped in another reality alongside Beast, a superpowered variant of her mother, and a referenced but unseen Professor X.

How The MCU Has Set Up The X-Men

The Marvels Was The Biggest Hint

Hints and clues about the X-Men have been scattered throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Thanks to the “Ms. Marvel” television series, mutants have now been officially confirmed in the MCU. In the series finale, Ms. Marvel discovers that the source of her powers is a mutation, which is highlighted by a nod to the “X-Men: The Animated Series” theme song. Additionally, Namor is a well-established mutant in the mainline MCU. As previously mentioned, Professor X and Beast have also made appearances; however, Professor X is killed by the Scarlet Witch, and Beast is currently in another reality.

Note:

“X-Men ’97,” the sequel to the 1992 series “X-Men: The Animated Series,” is Marvel Studios’ first project featuring the X-Men. However, this animated series on Disney+ is not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In “Deadpool” and “Wolverine,” several characters from Fox were successfully integrated into the MCU, but their time there was brief, as most either died or returned to their original universes by the end of the film. The exceptions were Wolverine and Laura. The MCU’s willingness to include various X-Men characters in the film is encouraging for the future of the team. It is clear that the X-Men will be a significant priority for the MCU when they finally make their appearance.

Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine are likely to continue their journeys in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with possible appearances in “Avengers: Secret Wars.” Kevin Feige has expressed interest in including them in various projects. If the MCU undergoes a soft reboot of the universe after that film, many of the mutants already introduced could become outdated. However, the introduction of these characters is still significant, as it has helped familiarize audiences with mutants in the main continuity.

Every X-Men Character Already In The MCU

There’s More Than A Dozen

Kamala Khan (AKA Ms. Marvel) appeared on Ms. Marvel (series) and The Marvels, Namor appeared on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Charles Xavier (AKA Professor X) appeared on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Mr. Immortal appeared on She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (series), El Aguila appeared on She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (series), Hank McCoy (AKA Beast) appeared on The Marvels, Wade Wilson (AKA Deadpool) appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine, James “Logan” Howlett (AKA Wolverine) appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine, Negasonic Teenage Warhead appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine, Shatterstar appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine, Colossus appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine, Gambit appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine, and X-23 appeared on Deadpool & Wolverine.

Several X-Men characters are already part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) ahead of the team’s solo movie. Notably, Professor X, Beast, Namor, and Ms. Marvel have all made appearances in the MCU. Additionally, other X-Men characters exist in the MCU, aligned with the comics. El Aguila and Mr. Immortal made cameos in “She-Hulk.” Furthermore, the cast of “Deadpool” and “Wolverine” features several cameos from previous “Deadpool” and “X-Men” movies, but the film concludes with Wade Wilson and Logan in Wade’s universe. Nonetheless, there remains a possibility that they could return in future MCU projects.

Wait, Did The MCU Just Prove Thanos Was Actually Right All Along?

The topic “Wait, Did The MCU Just Prove Thanos Was Actually Right All Along?” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

“Agatha All Along” may have subtly hinted that Thanos was actually justified in his conquest of the MCU’s galaxy. While the overall story and themes of the show do not directly connect to Thanos, the revelation of one character’s identity at the end of “Agatha All Along” provides a small link to the Mad Titan. This character, Rio Vidal, was ultimately confirmed to be the MCU’s version of Lady Death from Marvel Comics, after much speculation and theorizing.

In the comics, Death and Thanos are closely linked. Although Aubrey Plaza’s character in “Agatha All Along” does not share this connection with Thanos, many Marvel Comics fans may still make the association. In the source material, Thanos sought to wipe out half of the universe as a way to court Death. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) altered this storyline by removing the relationship between Thanos and Death. However, episode 8 of “Agatha All Along” may have suggested that Thanos was actually right, creating a loose association between the two characters.

Death's "Sacred Balance" Line Suggests Thanos May Have Been On To Something In The MCU

Thanos Had Similar Ideals In The MCU’s Phase 3

Wait, Did The MCU Just Prove Thanos Was Actually Right All Along?

In episode 8 of “Agatha All Along,” Rio Vidal, also known as Death, was portrayed primarily as the villain of the show. Her main objective was to kill Agatha, likely in a desperate attempt to keep the witch she loved with her forever. However, in the finale, Rio developed another goal: to take William Kaplan, also known as Billy Maximoff. Death explained to Agatha that the concept of William dying to allow Billy to claim his body was “disrupting the sacred balance.” This provided insight into why Rio wanted Billy dead, in addition to her ongoing feud with Agatha.

Rio also describes Billy as an abomination, expressing his discontent with how both Billy and his brother Tommy managed to survive. This statement suggests that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) may have unintentionally supported Thanos’ ideology. In “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame,” Thanos repeatedly claims that he is trying to eliminate 50% of all life for benevolent reasons, arguing that overpopulation across various planets will ultimately lead to their destruction, just as it did on his home planet, Titan. According to Thanos, by reducing the population, life will have the opportunity to flourish. One memorable line he delivers is that his ultimate goal is “perfectly balanced. As all things should be,” which mirrors Rio’s perspective as well.

Thanos Understanding Death's Mission Would Explain Some MCU Moments

Overall, this connection between Thanos and Death suggests that Thanos has a genuine understanding of the concept of Death. If certain beings, like Billy in Death’s case or overpopulated planets in Thanos’s scenario, are not meant to exist because they disrupt the natural balance, then they need to be addressed. Viewing Thanos’s mission through this perspective can make many of the Mad Titan’s seemingly grandiose statements more comprehensible. Often, when Thanos explained his motivations, the Avengers would dismiss him. For instance, Doctor Strange sarcastically commented, “Congratulations. You’re a prophet.”

Thanos’s understanding of the balance of life and death could provide insight into the grandiose explanations he often offered for his actions. While his dramatic reasoning initially appeared to be an expression of his narcissism, it may actually connect to the natural order of life and death. Although this theory may seem far-fetched, it serves as an interesting topic for discussion, especially following the two-part finale of “Agatha All Along.”

Thanos' Potential Death Connection Would Only Make Him A More Evil Villain

Thanos’ Goals Blind Him From Further Negative Outcomes

All that said, even if Thanos’ connection to Death were true, it would only make him more evil rather than more justified. This is because Thanos lacked foresight after executing the Snap. In this scenario, he may have succeeded in removing 50% of all life to maintain what he believed was the sacred balance of the universe, but that balance would ultimately deteriorate. For example, Thanos’ Blip created an entirely new way of life that would likely lead to greater loss than before.

The chaos created by the snap, as shown in various MCU movies and TV shows, suggests that more citizens in the MCU died than Thanos originally intended. This includes individuals in planes or other vehicles at the time of the snap, as well as those in surgery whose doctors disappeared. As a result, Thanos’s death toll likely exceeded the intended 50%. This undermines his supposed motivation to maintain balance, as that balance would have quickly become skewed.

It is important to note that Thanos did not just eliminate 50% of all human and alien life; he targeted all sentient beings. This means that resources essential for sustaining life, including animals on Earth, were also drastically reduced, which likely created additional challenges for the surviving humans. Moreover, it resulted in the tragic loss of animal lives for no reason. All of this suggests that Thanos, if he truly had a connection to the mindset of Lady Death from “Agatha All Along,” was not more sympathetic, but rather more evil.

Agatha All Along Creator Confirms What We All Suspected About the Ending

The creator of “Agatha All Along” has confirmed fan theories regarding the show’s conclusion that have been circulating since the release of Episode 9.

The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series on Disney+, “Agatha All Along,” left fans shocked when Agatha Harkness met her demise after an encounter with Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal, who represents the MCU’s version of Death.

In addition to Agatha’s unexpected death, the future of the MCU was further established when Billy Maximoff decided to join forces with Agatha in search of his brother, Tommy. However, this partnership came with significant emotional consequences for Agatha, who had to confront the dark events from her past.

Agatha All Along's Nicky Ending Explained by Creator

Agatha All Along Creator Confirms What We All Suspected About the Ending

In an interview with Deadline, Jac Schaeffer, the creator and showrunner ofAgatha All Along, discussed the reasoning behind certain decisions made in the show’s final episodes. Schaeffer specifically addressed the moment when Agatha tells Billy Maximoff that she is not ready to see her son, Nicholas Scratch (who was officially introduced in Episode 8 ofAgatha All Along”), after she has become a ghost.

When asked if her fear stemmed from her guilt over not saving him or from having used their Witches’ Road song for evil purposes, Schaeffer acknowledged that both reasons contributed to her feelings. Additionally, she felt guilty because Nicholasalways leaned towards goodanddidn’t want to kill witches, which left her with plenty of shame to deal with:

It’s both. It’s the fact that she couldn’t save him, that she couldn’t find the knowledge or the power to save him, and it’s the fact that he always leaned good. He didn’t want to kill witches. He didn’t want to live her lifestyle. Instead of rehabilitating herself on his death, she doubled down, and as you said, she used his song to become essentially a mass murderer. I think there’s so much shame for her in that.”

Schaeffer examined the sequence in which Agatha was killing witches across different eras, noting that she seemed to besomeone grievingin those moments. She emphasized the theme of shame, mentioning that it waspart of her connection point with Billy, who reminds her of her late son:

“I watch that final sequence that we callAgatha through time, where the camera’s swirling around and she’s conning and killing witches through the ages, and what I see is someone grieving. She can’t get full. She can’t fill herself up, and so she’s just eating and eating and eating. I find it really heartbreaking. I think she has so much shame because she knows, but that’s part of her connection point with Billy. Obviously, he reminds her of Nicky, and she can get close to their goodness, but she’s not quite there herself if that makes sense.”

Will Agatha Return to the MCU After Agatha All Along?

Agatha All Along’s final episode introduced fans to Ghost Agatha, and it seems her journey in the MCU is far from over. She is likely heading off on a quest to help Joe Locke’s character, Billy Maximoff, reunite with his twin brother, Tommy, whose spirit has found a new body.

Agatha’s solo series quickly became a hit for the MCU, building on the success Kathryn Hahn experienced as part of the WandaVision cast in 2021. While it may be challenging to pinpoint her next project, it would be surprising if Hahn did not reprise her role as the ghostly version of Agatha in the future.

She has emerged as the latest enigma in this segment of MCU storytelling, joining Wanda Maximoff, who was recently confirmed to be dead in “Agatha All Along.” With both characters seemingly passed on, the prospect of their potential resurrection could serve as an intriguing plot point for the mystical side of the MCU.

Currently, there are no confirmed projects in the MCU’s Multiverse Saga or beyond that appear to provide a natural opportunity for Agatha’s return, aside from a possible animated appearance in “What If…?”
All nine episodes of “Agatha All Along” are now available on Disney+.

Where Will Agatha Harkness Appear Next In The MCU? Every Possibility Explained

The topic “Where Will Agatha Harkness Appear Next In The MCU? Every Possibility Explained” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

Following the exciting conclusion of “Agatha All Along,” there are several possibilities for Agatha Harkness’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Agatha Harkness quickly became a standout character in the MCU, debuting in “WandaVision” and captivating audiences with her enigmatic charm and darkly humorous villainy in “Agatha All Along.” Portrayed by Kathryn Hahn, Agatha is a centuries-old witch who primarily sought to harness Wanda Maximoff’s powers. With the MCU hinting at new teams, potential alliances, and longstanding conflicts, there are multiple promising directions for Agatha’s future.

In the final episode of “Agatha: All Along,” Agatha dies but comes back as a ghost. The series finale features her teaming up with Wiccan, Wanda’s magically gifted son, to search for his missing brother, Tommy. This unexpected turn of events suggests that Agatha may return in future MCU projects as a guide, anti-hero, or even a full-fledged villain. Furthermore, her new alliance with Wiccan hints at a possible connection with other young super-powered heroes. These developments indicate that Agatha’s role in the MCU may extend beyond her conflict with Wanda, potentially aligning her with various characters in unexpected ways.

Agatha Harkness Is Most Likely To Appear In Marvel's Vision Quest Show

Where Will Agatha Harkness Appear Next In The MCU? Every Possibility Explained

One of the most promising possibilities for Agatha Harkness’s return is in the MCU’s upcoming series, Vision Quest, which focuses on the character Vision. Last seen in WandaVision, White Vision—revived without his original memories—gained sentience and departed the scene. As Vision embarks on a quest to discover his identity, Agatha’s expertise in magic and her knowledge of the Maximoff family history could be crucial to his journey.

Given her past relationship with Wanda, Agatha could serve as a bridge between Vision and Wanda’s legacy. She might help him rediscover elements of his past and assist in his search for Wanda. Agatha’s ghostly form adds an intriguing dimension to this involvement. If she can transcend physical limitations, she may appear unexpectedly in Vision’s world, even haunting him as he explores his complicated origins. Additionally, her newfound partnership with Vision’s son, Wiccan, could provide more opportunities, especially if Wiccan and Tommy decide to seek out their father as well.

Agatha Harkness Could Appear In the MCU's Young Avengers Project

A compelling possibility for Agatha’s return lies in the MCU’s Young Avengers project. With Wiccan and Speed, also known as Tommy, expected to be part of the Young Avengers lineup, Agatha’s connection with Wiccan in “Agatha: All Along” could set the stage for her to join the team as a mentor, guide, or even a reluctant ally. Agatha’s extensive knowledge of magic and her understanding of the ancient dark arts would be invaluable for a team of young, inexperienced heroes who are learning to harness their powers.

Agatha’s alliance with Wiccan has the potential to transform from a provisional partnership into a more steadfast connection, serving as a wellspring of arcane support as the Young Avengers confront ever-escalating, multifaceted threats. In the Marvel comics, Agatha has historically taken on a mentorship role for budding heroes, including Franklin Richards. This narrative progression aligns seamlessly with her established identity within Marvel’s mythos.

Agatha’s nuanced and morally intricate disposition could inject an element of suspense into the dynamics of the Young Avengers, as her loyalty would likely remain cloaked in ambiguity, leaving the team in a state of unease regarding her genuine intentions. Armed with her expertise in dark magic and profound understanding of the mystic realms, Agatha could provide Wiccan with a disciplined framework for developing his powers, steering him toward a path that sidesteps the perils Wanda encountered. Her involvement in a Young Avengers storyline could open doors to deeply layered storytelling, juxtaposing Agatha’s internal conflicts with the team’s gradual immersion into the mystical spectrum of the MCU. This interplay would offer rich narrative veins, amplifying the complexities of Agatha’s allegiance while broadening the Young Avengers’ engagement with Marvel’s arcane dimensions.

Agatha Harkness Could Return For The Rumored Scarlet Witch Movie

Agatha’s highly anticipated comeback could easily happen in a standalone Scarlet Witch movie. After the events of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, Wanda Maximoff’s storyline remains ambiguous, leading to strong rumors about her return in a solo film. Given Agatha’s long-standing connection with Wanda, her reappearance would be essential if Wanda were to have her own movie.

Agatha and Wanda’s relationship is characterized by betrayal, competition, and possibly mutual respect, creating a rich backdrop for storytelling if they were to meet again. In her ghost form, Agatha might pursue a personal agenda in the Scarlet Witch film, potentially assisting Wanda or serving as an antagonist driven by her own motivations. Additionally, Agatha’s shared interest in the mysteries of chaos magic could also pave the way for a possible alliance between them.

As both characters explore the nuances of their powers, the two witches may find themselves collaborating—either out of necessity or choice—to confront a larger threat. This film would provide audiences with a continuation of the dynamic between Agatha and Wanda. Additionally, it could position Agatha as either a powerful ally or a formidable adversary in her post-“Agatha All Along” era.

Here’s Why Agatha Kills Witches In the MCU

The topic “Here’s Why Agatha Kills Witches In the MCU” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

The finale of “Agatha All Along” explains why Agatha Harkness kills other witches in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). After introducing the concept of Death in the MCU, the series left many questions unanswered in its final two episodes. With half of Agatha’s coven having already perished, the stakes rose for Kathryn Hahn’s beloved character. While most of the last two episodes focused on resolving the present-day storyline, fans were also given an important glimpse into Agatha’s origins long before she arrived in Westview.

Why Does Agatha Kill Witches in the MCU?

Warning: The following text contains spoilers from Episodes 8 and 9 of “Agatha All Along.”

Episode 9 of Marvel Studios’ “Agatha All Along” primarily focused on flashback scenes that revealed Agatha Harkness’ true origin story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In 1750, Agatha gave birth to her son, Nicholas Scratch, who had been alluded to since Episode 2. However, Aubrey Plaza’s character, Lady Death, was present during the birth, suggesting that Nicholas was not meant to survive.

Here's Why Agatha Kills Witches In the MCU

In WandaVision Episode 8, it is revealed that Agatha was aware of her ability to absorb the magic of other witches when struck by it, which ultimately resulted in their deaths. Despite this, she chose to continue this practice not only to increase her own power but also to postpone Death, allowing her more time with her son.

This is illustrated through the deal she makes with Death, where Aubrey Plaza’s character hesitantly agrees to let Nicholas Scratch live in exchange for other souls.

Here's Why Agatha Kills Witches In the MCU

Agatha and Nicholas are revealed to be the creators of the legendary song “Witches’ Road,” which Agatha used to attract other witches to her. Hahn’s villain would then entice these witches to form a coven by promising to help them find The Road. She would goad them into using their magic against her, allowing her to steal their powers.

The only time Agatha did not use this deceptive tactic was when Death confronted her and her son, ultimately taking Nicholas Scratch and ending his life.

Here's Why Agatha Kills Witches In the MCU

Agatha maintained this deception for centuries and was planning to do so again in “Agatha All Along” Episode 2, as she gathered Alice Wu-Gulliver, Lilia Calderu, Jennifer Kale, and Sharon Davis. To her surprise, The Road appeared only briefly after encouraging them to attack her, utilizing Billy Maximoff’s powers.

What Happens to Agatha in Agatha All Along?

Surprisingly, Agatha does not survive her own solo series, despite having lived for centuries by siphoning the life force from other witches. In Episode 8, she seals her fate with a kiss of death, sacrificing her own life to save Billy Maximoff, who is also living on borrowed time in William Kaplan’s body.

Although Wanda Maximoff has once again been confirmed as dead in the MCU, her son Billy has finally embraced his full Wiccan persona, complete with a comic-accurate costume. He also experienced a moment similar to Wanda’s in “WandaVision,” where he endured a walk of shame in front of the Westview residents.

Looking ahead, the next step for Agatha and Billy will be to find Tommy Maximoff, who has found his own vessel, just like Billy did with William Kaplan in Episode 8. However, Agatha will need to search for him in ghost form. It seems that she and Billy will continue to work together, perhaps even reluctantly.

This sets the stage for Marvel Studios’ potential adaptation of the “Children’s Crusade” comic, a story that young Billy Maximoff, played by Julian Hilliard, is eager to see adapted in the MCU. The comic follows Billy’s quest to find the Scarlet Witch, who is believed to be dead, although it’s possible that Tommy could be featured instead. Regardless of how this unfolds, it seems that Agatha and Billy’s journey in the MCU is far from over. All nine episodes of “Agatha: All Along” are available to stream on Disney+.
