October 31, 2024 First Look at Jon Bernthal’s 2025 Punisher Return (Photos)

First Look at Jon Bernthal’s 2025 Punisher Return (Photos)

Marvel Studios has given fans their first look at Jon Bernthal’s return as the Punisher in 2025. Bernthal is among several actors from the original “Daredevil” series who will reprise their roles in Disney+’s “Daredevil: Born Again”, joining Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock, and Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrays Wilson Fisk. Although Bernthal’s return as Frank Castle has been anticipated for a while, fans have not officially seen him back in action since his last appearance in “The Punisher” Season 2, which aired in 2019.

Take a Look at The Punisher's Daredevil Return

As part of a new Marvel Studios Disney+ promotional campaign, fans were given their first glimpse of Jon Bernthal’s return as the Punisher. Bernthal is set to reprise the role of the iconic R-rated Marvel anti-hero in the upcoming series “Daredevil: Born Again,” which is scheduled for release on March 4, 2025.

The two-minute video showcases everything on the MCU’s streaming slate for the upcoming year, including the first publicly released footage from “Born Again.” This brief teaser featured a few shots of Bernthal’s Frank Castle, including a moment where he is seen in the character’s iconic skull-emblazoned costume.

The only other appearance of the character in the footage shows him in everyday clothing, seemingly conversing with someone—likely Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock—in a kitchen.

It is still unclear how prominently Bernthal’s Punisher will be featured in the series, but if this footage is any indication, fans can expect at least one significant action scene at some point in the show.

You can watch the teaser below.

What Is in Store for The Punisher?

Jon Bernthal’s role as the Punisher in “Daredevil: Born Again” has been somewhat of a mystery for a while, but it’s exciting for fans to see more details about his return to the small screen gradually emerging. Some might think he will have a minor role in the upcoming “Daredevil” revival, but that may not be the case. A copyright filing from October 2023 lists Bernthal as one of the series’ main actors, suggesting he may play a significant role in the show’s storyline.

The last time Jon Bernthal’s Punisher encountered Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, he was found guilty of murder by Cox’s lawyer, who is also a crime-fighting superhero. This led to his imprisonment, where he had his first proper meeting with Wilson Fisk.

This situation could suggest a potential connection between Punisher and Kingpin in the upcoming series “Daredevil: Born Again”, where Punisher may align himself with Vincent D’Onofrio’s crime boss, who is running for mayor.

Additionally, there have been indications that a Punisher series may follow “Daredevil: Born Again” on Disney+, making this an exciting prelude to a more in-depth exploration of Bernthal’s character and his Marvel storyline.

“Daredevil: Born Again” is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.

A new teaser has confirmed six MCU series coming to Disney+ in 2025. Marvel Studios has had an interesting year in the world of streaming, experiencing a relatively light schedule in 2024 compared to previous years. By the end of 2024, the studio will have released only four original projects on the platform. However, that isn’t expected to be the case in 2025.

6 MCU Series Coming in 2025

Marvel Studios has confirmed six new MCU series coming to Disney+ in 2025 as part of a mysterious promotional video.

The roughly three-minute video showcases much of the studio’s upcoming streaming lineup, including release dates for several series. It unexpectedly appeared on the platform for viewers watching Episode 1 of “Agatha All Along”, serving as a brief but exciting introduction to Kathryn Hahn’s captivating streaming series.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Disney+ Announces 6 MCU Shows Releasing In 2025

Marvel Studios will kick off 2025 with the animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” set to debut on January 29. This series will introduce audiences to an alternate universe version of Peter Parker as he embarks on his first adventures as the iconic wall-crawler.

Previously, there were rumors that “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” would be released before the end of 2024, but those rumors have recently been debunked.

Daredevil: Born Again

Following “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” Marvel’s Man Without Fear is making a highly anticipated return on March 4. “Daredevil: Born Again” will mark a new era for Charlie Cox’s scarlet-clad superhero, fully reintroducing him into the MCU with a gritty, R-rated storyline on streaming.

The brief teaser showcased glimpses of Cox’s Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil), along with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. It also featured Ayelet Zurer’s Vanessa Fisk, who will reprise her role after Marvel Studios initially replaced the original Daredevil star from the Netflix series.

Ironheart

After years of anticipation and numerous postponements, Ironheart is set to make its awaited Disney+ premiere on June 24. This successor to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will revolve around Dominique Thorne’s prodigious young intellect, Riri Williams, as she embarks on the dual journey of becoming a superhero while tackling the rigors of college life at MIT.

This streaming odyssey promises to introduce the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s inaugural clash of sorcery against technology. Furthermore, as hinted by glimpses in a brief Disney+ teaser, Thorne’s youthful hero will don a fresh, iron-forged look as she faces the formidable challenges that lie ahead.

Eyes of Wakanda

Scheduled to premiere on August 6, 2025, the latest installment in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther saga is the animated series titled “Eyes of Wakanda”. Developed by Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, this animated adventure centers on the courageous Dora Milaje warriors as they defend Wakanda, its people, and its invaluable resources.

Recently, fans were treated to a sneak peek of a potential logo for “Eyes of Wakanda”, teasing the thrilling super-powered journey that awaits in this streaming series.

Marvel Zombies

Just in time to set the Halloween mood in 2025, Marvel fans can dive back into the MCU’s chilling exploration of the undead with Marvel Zombies. This spine-tingling What If…? spin-off, debuting on Disney+ on October 25, plunges viewers into an alternate universe where a team of Avengers must battle for survival in a realm overrun by zombified superheroes.

This upcoming release is anticipated to carry another R-rating, bringing a darker edge to the superhero franchise. Early glimpses have showcased an exciting roster, with Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan stepping into the eerie world of the undead.

Wonder Man

Closing out the year, the Yahya Abdul-Mateen-led series “Wonder Man” is set to premiere in December 2025. The show, developed by Destin Daniel Cretton of “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” completed filming in April of this year.

“Wonder Man” will offer a meta perspective on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the ever-evolving Hollywood industry. The series will focus on a Hollywood stuntman, played by Mateen, as he tries to achieve success in the film industry.

You can find the 2025 Marvel Television teaser on Disney+ before the first episode of “Agatha All Along.”

Marvel Is Already Setting Up How Venom Can Return After The Last Dance

The topic “Marvel Is Already Setting Up How Venom Can Return After The Last Dance” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for “Venom: The Last Dance.”

Marvel has already set the stage for Venom’s return after “The Last Dance” in Sony’s universe. In the final installment of Sony’s “Venom” trilogy, Eddie Brock and his symbiote were separated due to a significant sacrifice made to prevent the major cosmic villain Knull, the Symbiote God, from escaping his prison in space. However, it appears there are several ways in which the Lethal Protector could make a comeback in the future.

In “Venom: The Last Dance”, it is revealed that Tom Hardy’s character, Eddie Brock, and the symbiote Venom share a unique bond that creates a codex. This bond originated when the symbiote revived Eddie from life-threatening wounds inflicted by Riot at the end of the first “Venom” movie. This codex is crucial for Knull’s release from the symbiote homeworld of Klyntar, which explains why he dispatches his symbiote-hunting creatures, known as xenophages, to pursue it. Although this motivates Venom to sacrifice himself at the end of “The Last Dance”, there are still several potential ways the symbiote can return and re-bond with Eddie in the future.

There Are Still Pieces Of Venom Left In The Marvel Multiverse

“Venom: The Last Dance” clearly establishes that the death of either Venom or Eddie would result in the destruction of the codex. This is why, at the end of the movie, Venom sacrifices himself—not only to save Eddie but also to eliminate the key to Knull’s freedom. However, both the beginning and the end of Venom: The Last Dance suggest that Venom is likely still alive.

Although it was shown in The Last Dance, the piece of the Venom symbiote that remained in the MCU, as seen at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, was never retrieved. Therefore, it’s reasonable to believe that a small fragment of Venom still exists on Earth-616, which could potentially return to Eddie in the future—or even to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man for his own Symbiote Saga.

In the post-credits scene of “Venom: The Last Dance”, a fragment of the Venom symbiote collected by Rex Strickland from Area 55 has survived. It is shown crawling around the rubble of the secret government facility as a cockroach. This suggests the possibility that one or both of these symbiote fragments could eventually come together again to reconstitute Eddie’s symbiote partner.

Venom 3 Heavily Implies Eddie Brock Will Become A Father

In “Venom: The Last Dance,” a significant portion of the story explores the possibility of Eddie Brock becoming a father. During their journey, Eddie encounters Martin Moon (played by Rhys Ifans), a free-spirited believer in aliens. Eddie and Venom hitch a ride with Martin’s family, who assist them on their way to Las Vegas.

Throughout the trip, Eddie forms a bond with Martin’s son, Leaf. When Leaf expresses his fears about aliens, Eddie reassures him and helps him confront those fears, especially when Leaf learns that Eddie is host to an alien symbiote. Additionally, the Venom symbiote itself mentions in “The Last Dance” that Eddie would make a great dad.

This may reference Eddie Brock’s status in the original Marvel Comics, where he is revealed to be a father just before Knull invaded Earth in the 2020 crossover event, “King in Black.” Similarly, Eddie having a son in the Sony universe could lead to some intriguing developments.

Venom Could Return Bonded With Dylan Brock Instead Of Eddie

The Current Venom In Marvel Comics

Marvel Is Already Setting Up How Venom Can Return After The Last Dance

In the original Marvel Comics, Dylan Brock’s mother is Anne Weying, who was Eddie Brock’s former girlfriend. Both Eddie and the Venom symbiote are technically considered Dylan’s fathers, which explains the impressive powers and control he exhibits over symbiotes that developed during the “King in Black” storyline. As a result, Dylan becomes a key target for Knull, the Symbiote God. Following Eddie’s victory over Knull, he becomes the new King in Black, while Dylan takes on the role of Venom’s new host. This development could potentially be explored in Sony’s live-action universe as well.

If Dylan were to be introduced in a future Sony project and developed a bond with one of Venom’s pieces, he could become a new on-screen Lethal Protector, just like he has been in the comics since 2021. This development would allow “Venom: The Last Dance” to truly mark the conclusion of Eddie and Venom’s story, as actor Tom Hardy has frequently mentioned in interviews and during the film’s promotional campaign. The symbiotic reins could effectively be passed on to the next generation.

Sony's Marvel Universe Already Set Up Another Venom Replacement

If Sony chooses to leave Venom out of their live-action universe, it’s worth noting that they set up a replacement symbiote hero by the end of “Venom: The Last Dance”. One of the few survivors from the battle between the symbiotes at Area 55 and Knull’s xenophages was Doctor Teddy Payne (played by Juno Temple). Having bonded with a purple symbiote that closely resembles Agony from the original comics, it’s possible that Agony and Payne could appear in future Sony projects—especially if Knull breaks free and threatens to engulf the universe in darkness.

“After all, it would certainly be odd if Venom wasn’t involved in a future movie where Knull becomes the main villain and primary threat…”

Venom’s return seems highly likely. Although it may not feature Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock, it’s evident that Sony has strategically created multiple avenues for the Lethal Protector to reappear after “The Last Dance.” It would indeed be strange if Venom were absent from a future film where Knull emerges as the main villain and primary threat.

“Venom: The Last Dance” is currently playing in theaters from Sony Pictures.

Is Wanda Maximoff Dead In the MCU? Agatha All Along Creator Clarifies Comments on Her Fate

The topic “Is Wanda Maximoff Dead In the MCU? Agatha All Along Creator Clarifies Comments on Her Fate” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

Agatha All Along’s creator addressed Wanda Maximoff’s presumed death in the MCU once again.

The creator of “Agatha All Along” recently addressed the question of whether Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, is truly dead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since the conclusion of 2022’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” many fans have assumed that Wanda Maximoff died in the MCU’s main timeline.

This assumption is understandable, given that she appeared to be crushed by a collapsing Mount Wundagore. However, her status as a powerful hero in the MCU leads many to question this belief. As is common in comic book movies, characters often return from the dead.

The original trailer for “Agatha All Along” suggested Wanda’s death, as viewers could see her body lying near a creek during Agatha’s investigation in Episode 1.

Agatha All Along Creator on Wanda Maximoff Being Dead

Is Wanda Maximoff Dead In the MCU? Agatha All Along Creator Clarifies Comments on Her Fate

In an interview with The Wrap, Jac Schaeffer, the creator of “Agatha All Along,” addressed the question of Wanda Maximoff’s potential death in the MCU. When asked about the ambiguity surrounding Wanda’s fate, Schaeffer noted that viewers are seeing the situation from Agatha’s perspective. Agatha doesn’t have a definitive answer regarding Wanda’s status. Although she claims to have “seen a dead body” while under Wanda’s spell, she doesn’t fully trust what she witnessed at that time.

“We wrote that from Agatha’s perspective and as far as Agatha’s concerned, she actually does not have the answer. She has the evidence from her witchified mind. The mind that was under a spell saw a dead body. But she knows she can’t entirely trust that, and she wasn’t there when Wundagore came down. She doesn’t actually know.”

Not having that answer leads Agatha to “play with her food” and tease people over that mystery:

“So if Agatha doesn’t have the answer to a question, what’s she going to do? She’s going to play with her food, you know what I mean? She’s going to mess with people. That’s Agatha being Agatha. That’s Agatha Agatha-ing.”

Schaeffer avoided answering the question about the larger MCU, stating it was “not her department.”

“But as far as the larger MCU of it. Yeah, it is not my department. But as you know, I am forever rooting for Wanda Maximoff to come grace us with her presence.”

This follows the confirmation of Wanda’s death in the MCU, which has been acknowledged by multiple executives, as mentioned in “Agatha All Along,” Episode 7. Early in the episode, Joe Locke’s character, Billy Maximoff, asks Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness about his mother. However, Agatha avoids giving him a direct answer:

Billy Maximoff: “Is Wanda Maximoff really dead?”

Agatha Harkness: “Yes. No. Maybe.”

Billy: “Did you see a body?”

Agatha: “Yes, I did.”

Billy: “Did anybody else?”

Agatha: “It’s hard to say. Hey, you want straight answers, ask a straight lady.”

Will Wanda Maximoff Return to the MCU?

Despite Wanda’s death in the current MCU timeline, many fans are eagerly anticipating her return in the near future. The details of how this will happen remain a mystery, but it continues to be a highly discussed topic among the fandom.

Jac Schaeffer has expressed a desire for a Scarlet Witch movie, which would bring Elizabeth Olsen’s character back into the spotlight in a significant way.
Additionally, marketing material from “Agatha All Along” has hinted at Wanda Maximoff’s comeback, especially following the full reveal of her son, Billy Maximoff, in Episode 5.

Her return could serve as a significant turning point during Agatha’s two-episode finale, especially considering how frequently she has been mentioned throughout the series. However, her comeback is not guaranteed to happen this soon.

At the very least, many expect her to be resurrected for the major event that will be 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars, which is set to bring together generations of Marvel’s top characters on screen. Whether her return occurs before that or is saved for the event, it will undoubtedly spark plenty of discussion among viewers.

The first seven episodes of Agatha All Along are currently streaming on Disney+. Episodes 8 and 9 will be available to view at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Wednesday, October 30.

Agatha All Along’s Tarot Cards Explained

The topic “Agatha All Along’s Tarot Cards Explained” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

In Episode 7 of Agatha All Along, tarot cards are introduced to the MCU, prompting many fans to seek further explanation of their important role.

During this episode, Agatha (played by Kathryn Hahn) and Joe Locke’s mysterious character face a challenging trial as they enter an eerie mansion. Billy begins a tarot reading, not realizing that any incorrect interpretation will cause swords to fall from the ceiling.

The situation escalates when Lilia (Patti LuPone) steps in, using her tarot expertise to help them understand the cards and navigate their survival.

The significance of the tarot cards becomes increasingly apparent in the final moments of the episode, but their deeper meaning may not be fully grasped by the general audience.

Agatha All Along's Tarot Cards Explained

Agatha All Along's Tarot Cards Explained

Lilia explains the symbols during the final tarot card reading, which have deeper meanings.

The Chariot

Agatha All Along's Tarot Cards Explained

The Chariot symbolizes victory and the ability to overcome obstacles through willpower, focus, and determination. It suggests that control and perseverance are essential for success in challenging situations. However, Billy is unaware of the true meaning of this card when it is drawn early in the episode.

Seven of Swords (Reversed)

In its reversed position, the Seven of Swords often indicates a desire to come clean, confess, or make amends after engaging in deceptive actions. It may also suggest a shift in tactics toward collaboration instead of acting independently or dishonestly.

At this point in Episode 7, Billy questions why the card would be reversed, as this would imply that Agatha is being honest—something he highly doubts.

The Magician

Agatha All Along's Tarot Cards Explained

The Magician symbolizes the power of manifestation, encouraging you to utilize your skills and resources to turn dreams into reality. It serves as a reminder to tap into your potential and take confident action.

In Episode 7, this is embodied by Billy. Lilia describes this asvery fittingbecause The Magician representsenormous potential and the ability to transform all your goals into reality:”

“You are the magician. You have enormous potential and the ability to turn all of your goals into reality. Very fitting.”

The Sun

The Sun symbolizes success, joy, and positivity, bringing clarity and brightness into one’s life. It represents fulfillment, personal growth, and optimism for the future.
When pulling this card, Lilia simply says, “Good fortune, joy, reunion.” This immediately captures Billy’s attention, as he hopes to reunite with his brother, Tommy.

Queen of Cups

This card represents emotional depth, compassion, and intuition, symbolizing a calm and nurturing presence. It suggests being in touch with one’s emotions as well as the emotions of others, using empathy to guide one’s decisions. Lilia identifies herself as theQueen of Cups, laying down a series of cards in an effort to escape the castle:

“I am the Queen of Cups.”

Three of Pentacles

The card symbolizes teamwork, collaboration, and the gathering of skills and resources to achieve a shared goal. It highlights the significance of cooperating with others to create something meaningful.

In Episode 7, this moment becomes emotionally significant for Lilia as she declares, “I need you, my coven.”

The Knight of Wands

The Knight of Wands signifies action, adventure, and enthusiasm. It represents a person who is eager to take on challenges, possesses impulsive energy, and is ready to charge ahead in pursuit of their passions. When Lilia draws The Knight of Wands, she envisions Alice, describing her as “full of fire and fighting bravely.”

The High Priestess

The High Priestess symbolizes intuition, mystery, and inner wisdom. It encourages you to trust your instincts and suggests accessing hidden knowledge and spiritual insights through reflection and stillness.

In “Agatha All Along,” Jen embodies this theme, as Lilia mentions that she will possess “immense spiritual power, unable or unwilling to use it.”

Three of Swords

This card symbolizes heartbreak, grief, and emotional pain, often reflecting a challenging or sorrowful experience. It signifies a period of deep emotional suffering and the need for healing.

Lilia connects this to Agatha in Episode 7, where she envisions Agatha crying over the deceased Billy. Lilia describes it as “heartbreak, sorrow, grief.”

The Tower/The Tower (Reversed)

The Tower represents sudden upheaval, destruction, and the collapse of false foundations, often leading to significant change. While this process may be painful, it is essential for growth and renewal.

In its reversed position, The Tower indicates resistance to necessary change or an avoidance of an inevitable crisis. Lilia refers to the reversed position as “Miraculous Transformation.”

At the end of Episode 7, Lilia changes the Tower card from reversed to upright, which results in the defeat of the Salem Seven and her own sacrifice.

Death

Death signifies the conclusion of a meaningful phase or chapter in life, leading to transformation and rebirth. It represents closure, the act of letting go, and the embrace of new beginnings as part of this natural cycle.

In Episode 7 of *Agatha All Along*, it was revealed that Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal, is the MCU’s version of Death. This confirmation came when her tarot card was drawn, assigning her the “Death” card, thus making her the embodiment of Death and the leader of the Salem Seven.

The twist likely didn’t surprise many fans, as there had already been speculation regarding Aubrey Plaza’s character being associated with Death.
Episodes 8 and 9 of *Agatha All Along* will begin streaming on Disney+ on Wednesday, October 30, at 9 p.m. ET.

The topic “Agatha All Along’s Rio Lady Death Twist Explained” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

After weeks of anticipation, “Agatha All Along” finally revealed the identity of the MCU’s interpretation of death.

Marvel Studios’ captivating streaming series is starting to unveil some of its biggest secrets. While much of the attention has been on Joe Locke’s enigmatic character in “Agatha All Along,” the show still has surprises in store.

One of these reveals came in Episode 7, titled “Death’s Hand in Mine,” which highlighted Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal, prominently for everyone to see.

Agatha Reveals Lady Death

Agatha All Along's Rio Lady Death Twist Explained

Warning: The following text contains spoilers for Episode 7 of Agatha All Along.
Episode 7 has confirmed that Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal, is actually the MCU’s version of Death.

In this latest episode of Jac Schaeffer’s WandaVision spin-off, the central coven of witches embarks on a tarot-based journey along The Witches’ Road. With a combination of determination and some time-jumping antics by Patti LuPone’s character, Lilia Calderu, the episode culminates in each member of the team receiving a tarot card assignment.

While most characters were fairly unsuspecting, such as Joe Locke’s Billy Maximoff receiving the Magician card and Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness getting the Three of Swords, the final witch assigned a card was Aubrey Plaza’s now-absent Rio Vidal. The last card pulled by Lupone’s master of divination is the Death card, which reveals Plaza’s mysterious green witch and finally confirms her identity in the series.

Agatha All Along's Rio Lady Death Twist Explained

For weeks, there has been speculation that Aubrey Plaza’s character in “Agatha All Along” was, in fact, Death. However, this had not been officially confirmed in the series. Some fans believed the show had inadvertently spoiled itself prior to its release, as a pair of Agatha All Along Funko Pop figures appeared to hint at the presence of both Death and Wiccan within the series.

Now, fans can confirm that Aubrey Plaza’s green witch, who is the former lover of Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness, is indeed the embodiment of Death and the leader of the formidable Salem Seven.
It seems that taking down Plaza’s Death will be a priority for Agatha and her crew moving forward.

Who Is Marvel's Death Character?

“Agatha All Along” has been leading the way toward the darker aspects of Marvel Comics, and the introduction of Lady Death is just the beginning. Lady Death, also known as Mistress Death, is a cosmic entity that embodies death itself, responsible for guiding lost souls into the afterlife.

Initially introduced as a villain for Captain Marvel in the comics, she has encountered many Marvel characters over the years, including Deadpool, Loki, and even Thanos, with whom she had a romantic relationship in the comics.

The introduction of Death could mark the beginning of Marvel Studios formally incorporating the powers of the underworld and afterlife into the MCU. This development may also suggest that the long-awaited arrival of Mephisto (a.k.a. the devil) is still on the horizon in “Agatha All Along.” Although Mephisto and Death do not share a significant relationship in the comics, their mutual connection to dark magic makes their sequential appearances on-screen plausible.

Another intriguing connection involving Death in the comics is with The Beyonder. The Beyonder plays a crucial role in the “Secret Wars” storyline, where he attempts to pit various universes against each other in an epic battle for survival.
Before the “Secret Wars” storyline began, the Beyonder waged war against Lady Death, aiming to eliminate the concept of death from the universe entirely. This venture did not end well for him, ultimately leading him on a path toward the “Secret Wars” saga.

Currently, it appears that the MCU will omit the Beyonder from its “Secret Wars” narrative and instead emphasize Doctor Doom; however, Lady Death could still have a role in the story.

There have been hints about a future for Plaza’s character in the MCU beyond “Agatha All Along.” It’s possible that her character, Death, could help set the stage for the franchise’s upcoming Avengers movies. Alternatively, Death might play a significant role in stories involving Joe Locke’s character, Teen, as he seeks to bring his deceased mother, the Scarlet Witch, back to life in the future.

The first seven episodes of “Agatha All Along” are now available for streaming on Disney+.

The topic “Joe Locke Disagreed With 1 Billy Maximoff Decision In Latest Agatha Episode” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written one.

In “Agatha All Along,” Joe Locke’s character, Billy Maximoff, returned to the MCU, although Locke had some disagreements regarding a major decision made for his character in the Disney+ series. Episode 6 of “Agatha All Along” provided fans with a comprehensive backstory for Billy Maximoff, allowing Locke to share what transpired before his encounter with Agatha. The episode touched on significant moments, from William Kaplan’s Bar Mitzvah to the car crash that occurred while watching Wanda Maximoff’s Hex dissolve—an event that was life-changing for Locke’s character.

Fans were given an in-depth look at Wiccan’s life, both before and after the accident. “Agatha All Along” also hinted at the introduction of Hulkling through Billy’s boyfriend, Eddie, while providing a glimpse into the hero’s home life.

Joe Locke Disagreed with One Billy Maximoff Choice

Joe Locke Disagreed With 1 Billy Maximoff Decision In Latest Agatha Episode

In an interview with Variety, Joe Locke, who plays William Kaplan/Billy Maximoff, shared his thoughts on a creative decision regarding his character in “Agatha All Along.” He noted the film posters displayed in William Kaplan’s room before and after his transformation into Billy Maximoff. These posters included “Carrie,” “Saw,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “The Wizard of Oz.”

When asked whether he had any input in the selection of these posters, Locke admitted that he disagreed with the choice, explaining that they were not films he believed Billy would have watched.

Although he didn’t specify the movies Billy might not have seen, he hinted that the titles featured on the posters had “very good representation for that time” before evolving into the modern era:

“There were a few film posters up there that I didn’t necessarily think that he would have watched. I’m not going to name the films of those film. Like, very good representation for that time, but we’ve moved on from that sort of thing.”

Amidst the visual landscape, one emblematic display was swapped for a banner proclaiming, “Trans Lives Matter.

Joe Locke Disagreed With 1 Billy Maximoff Decision In Latest Agatha Episode

He also pointed out a sticker in that room that read, “Not a phase,” beneath a rainbow, noting that he was not a fan of that prop either.

“And so we replaced one of them with the ‘Trans Lives Matter’ flag. There was one — I mean all respect, our set dressers and prop department were so amazing, and there was so much incredible stuff there. But there was one sticker in Billy’s room, and it was like, the moon phases in a rainbow, and it said, ‘Not a phase’ underneath it. And I was like, ‘This is great, but it has to go. I’m really sorry, but this has to go.'”

Despite his minor complaints, Locke was impressed with the bedroom set, calling it one of his favorites from the production.

“But you know, that set was probably one of my favorite set of all of them, because it’s so witchy, and there’s many candles, and you know, all of the posters.”

After the reveal of Wiccan in Agatha All Along Episode 5, this set became essential in unveiling the full origin story of William Kaplan/Billy Maximoff in the MCU.

The MCU's Increased Trans Representation In and After Agatha All Along

Joe Locke’s portrayal of Billy Maximoff marks the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s roster of LGBTQIA+ characters, significantly advancing the franchise’s representation. The inclusion of a “Trans Lives Matter” poster in Billy’s room further emphasizes this representation.

Looking ahead, Marvel Studios plans to enhance its commitment to diversity even more. Notably, Zoe Terakas will become the MCU’s first transgender actor to appear on screen in Disney+’s upcoming series, Ironheart, although the specifics of their role have yet to be revealed.

Ironheart is reportedly looking to cast a trans woman for an undisclosed role alongside Teraka and star Dominique Thorne. As of now, there have been no updates regarding who will fill this role or what it entails.

While LGBTQIA+ characters were not frequently featured in the MCU’s Infinity Saga, Marvel Studios is making efforts to improve representation in the Multiverse Saga. The pressing question is when fans will finally see these characters on screen, especially after the numerous delays faced by various projects in this saga.
The first six episodes of **Agatha All Along** are now available for streaming on Disney+. Episode 7 will be released on Wednesday, October 23, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Marvel Explained Why Scarlet Witch Couldn’t Find Billy After WandaVision… But What About Tommy?

The topic “Marvel Explained Why Scarlet Witch Couldn’t Find Billy After WandaVision… But What About Tommy?” has two versions: a written one and a video version below the written one.

Agatha All Along has provided an explanation for why Wanda Maximoff was unable to locate her son, Billy, after the events of WandaVision. However, there has been no similar explanation regarding her other son, Tommy. Tommy, who is Billy’s twin brother, also appeared in Marvel’s WandaVision but has not returned to the MCU timeline. Since both characters are expected to play a role in the future of the MCU as members of the Young Avengers, Marvel will need to address this mystery soon.

In episode 6 of Agatha All Along, the identity of Joe Locke’s character, Teen, is finally confirmed as Billy Caplan, also known as Billy Maximoff. This character was last seen as a child in WandaVision, alongside his brother Tommy. Both were conjured by Wanda’s magic but disappeared when her hex collapsed. Their fates have been one of the biggest questions surrounding Wanda’s story arc. Now that Billy has been confirmed to have survived, many are wondering when and how Tommy will return to the MCU.

Billy's Sigil Meant Scarlet Witch Wouldn't Have Been Able To Find Billy

Wanda was unable to locate Billy after WandaVision because a sigil had been placed on William Caplan, who was the host body for Billy’s reincarnated soul. According to “Agatha All Along,” the sigil was embedded before Billy’s spirit was transferred into William Caplan. This protective symbol hid Billy from Wanda’s magical senses the moment the hex in Westview collapsed, causing Billy Maximoff to cease to exist in that form.

This elucidates why Wanda, despite her powerful magic abilities, one of the most powerful in the multiverse, was thwarted in locating her son, Billy. The sigil clandestinely veiled Billy’s existence, rendering Wanda’s attempts futile, even as she traversed realms during her relentless pursuit in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Billy was perpetually present, though shrouded beneath a formidable enchantment. This unveiling directly interweaves with the enigma of Billy’s reincarnation and his future significance within the MCU, yet the uncertainty surrounding Tommy’s fate remains unresolved.

WandaVision's Post-Credits Confirmed Tommy Survived Too... But Where Is He?

Marvel Explained Why Scarlet Witch Couldn't Find Billy After WandaVision... But What About Tommy?

In the post-credits scene of WandaVision, Wanda hears her sons, Billy and Tommy, calling out to her from what appears to be another universe or dimension. This moment sets the stage for her intense quest in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where she searches for her children across different realities. The fact that both boys are calling for their mother suggests that Tommy, like Billy, also survived the collapse of the hex. While Billy has made a return in “Agatha All Along,” Tommy has not yet reappeared in the MCU, leaving his fate uncertain.

If Tommy’s soul was transferred into a new body, just like Billy’s, it’s possible that he also has a sigil placed on him. This would explain why Wanda couldn’t find him either. If that’s the case, Tommy might be hidden somewhere, possibly waiting for the right moment to re-emerge. This scenario sets up an exciting future narrative that could reunite the brothers after “Agatha All Along.”

Marvel Studios Announces Its Next R-Rated Project

The topic “Marvel Studios Announces Its Next R-Rated Project” has two versions, a written version below, and a video version below the written version.

During Marvel Studios’ panel at New York Comic-Con (NYCC), the studio confirmed that its next project in development will be rated R.
Although Marvel only began producing R-rated TV shows and movies in 2024, the studio has had a strong start in this area. Echo received positive reviews for its maturity and intensity on Disney+ back in January, while Deadpool & Wolverine broke numerous box office records this summer.
Following this success, the MCU appears to have no plans to stop producing R-rated content. Rumors suggest that the studio has more movies in mind that could receive an R-rating, and this rating is also reportedly extending to streaming projects.

Marvel Studios Confirms Next R-Rated Entry

Marvel Studios Announces Its Next R-Rated Project

Marvel Studios has recently released a project profile for Daredevil: Born Again, confirming that the series will have a TV-MA rating, which is equivalent to an R-rated movie. This will mark the third MCU series on Disney+ to carry an R-rating; Echo was confirmed for a TV-MA rating when its first trailer debuted, and reports have indicated that the upcoming Marvel Zombies series will also be rated R.
Additionally, following the success of Deadpool and Wolverine, there are hints that Blade will also be rated R when it is eventually released.

What To Expect in Daredevil: Born Again

“Daredevil: Born Again” will continue the storyline from Netflix’s original “Daredevil” series. The upcoming streaming show will reunite Matt Murdock not only with his old friends but also with some of his most notable enemies, including Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin.
Marvel teased Kingpin’s potential rise to the position of Mayor of New York City in the post-credits scene of “Echo.” However, his reign will be just one of several significant challenges that the Man Without Fear will have to face.
In the upcoming season, one of the returning villains will be Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye from *Daredevil* Season 3, alongside a new antagonist named Muse. Although the overarching plot of Season 1 is not yet fully revealed, Matt Murdock’s battles with Kingpin and these other foes will play a central role in his storyline.
This will also mark only the second time Matt Murdock has appeared in the MCU since his adventures in the Defenders Saga were confirmed as part of MCU canon. With this background of action now integrated into his story, his time with Marvel Studios promises to be even more thrilling and exciting.
Daredevil: Born Again is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.

The topic “Agatha All Along Episode 6’s Lilia Twist Explained: The Tower Reversed Meaning & Scene Breakdown” has two versions, a written one below, and a video version below the written one.

In a surprising turn of events, Patti LuPone’s character, Lilia, returns in Episode 6 of Agatha All Along, bringing with her a potentially ominous sign represented by the reversed Tower tarot card.

The latest episode of Marvel’s streaming series had a significant challenge ahead. Episode 6 introduced a love interest for Joe Locke’s character and explained how this teenage character arrived at the point viewers first saw him in Episode 1. Additionally, it wove in the series’ central coven of witches, including Patti LuPone’s divination specialist, into his backstory.

Why Was Lilia at William Kaplan's Bar Mitzvah?

Agatha All Along Episode 6's Lilia Twist Explained: The Tower Reversed Meaning & Scene Breakdown

Warning: The following text contains spoilers for Agatha All Along, Episode 6.

In Episode 6 of the captivating series, Agatha All Along, a series of cameos from the team of witches was featured, accompanying Joe Locke’s character, Billy Kaplan, on the Witches’ Road. Patti LuPone’s character, Lilia, made a memorable return at Billy’s Bar Mitzvah.

During the episode’s lengthy flashback sequence, we learn more about Locke’s mysterious Marvel character, who is revealed to be the ultra-powerful Wiccan.
One notable scene focuses on Kaplan’s Bar Mitzvah, which takes place just before the tragic car accident that causes his consciousness to merge with that of Billy Maximoff, Wanda’s magic-wielding son.

At this party, young William (Billy) encounters Patti LuPone’s witchy Marvel character.

Agatha All Along Episode 6's Lilia Twist Explained: The Tower Reversed Meaning & Scene Breakdown

Set before the events of the rest of the series, Lilia is hired to provide palm readings as a fun activity for the partygoers at Billy’s coming-of-age ceremony. Curious about what his future might hold, Billy asks Lilia for a reading, and she happily agrees.

As Lilia begins the reading, she tells Billy that she sees “a great journey ahead of you,” one that promises “great transformation.” However, she quickly pauses when she studies Billy’s palms and notices that, in her words, his lifeline has been broken into two.

While Lilia understands the significance of this lifeline discovery, she downplays it, telling Billy (William) that it can often signify many things, such as “personal growth and important life changes,” which certainly applies to him, especially since it’s his Bar Mitzvah. She even goes so far as to say he is “becoming a man,” a “new you.”

This moment serves as one of the first hints that something seriously wrong is about to happen to the young teenager, foreshadowing his eventual convergence with Billy Maximoff during the car accident that occurs just moments later.

The Meaning of the Tower Reversed in Agatha

As part of the reading in “Agatha All Along,” Lilia and Billy Kaplan have a significant encounter. Patti LuPone, portraying an ancient witch, concludes her session with a reference to the reversed Tower tarot card. After examining his palm, Lilia instinctively exclaims, “The Tower reversed,” but quickly pretends to have forgotten what she said. Billy, clearly shaken by the experience, gets up and leaves the tent. Before he exits, Lilia discreetly slips a charm into his jacket.

The reference to the Tower reversed comes from the world of tarot readings. The Tower card typically symbolizes sudden change, upheaval, or chaos. However, when reversed, it can also represent personal transformation, a fear of change, and the avoidance of disaster.

In the context of Billy/William, the mention of the tower likely alludes to the character’s near-death experience, which will occur shortly after he leaves his Bar Mitzvah.

The reversed card may symbolize William continuing to exist after his death and eventually accepting his new life, now influenced by the consciousness of Billy Maximoff. The personal change mentioned in the Tower may not have occurred yet. While it likely refers to William’s accident, fans could still witness the character overcoming another barrier of internal growth in the final episodes of Agatha All Along, as he nears the end of the Witches’ Road.

Perhaps Billy Kaplan’s complete transformation into Wiccan (crown included) will be part of his journey of personal growth. Agatha All Along continues on Disney+, with new episodes released every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
